This is part 2 of a 4 part series of my very popular Angel Wings tutorial
Adding colour to the background to accentuate the texture. This is the fun part of Mixed Media – mixing all the different types of products to create a very unique background colour. I love mixing inks and acrylics and I also mix in alcohol inks with the water based products. If you know the attributes of each product and how they react, then you can very easily manipulate the reactions to make products work together that in theory is not supposed to. But in Mixed Media we are know to push the limit on what can and can’t be used together.
Enjoy the video and let me know in the comments if you enjoy mixing inks and paints in your projects
